As a busy professional who is also a mom of 3, I am often overwhelmed and frustrated by all the mixed messages we receive as work-outside-the-home moms.
Like “Family first” but also “Lean In” at work. Or the promise that “we can have it all” but with the admonition that “you can’t do it all” and “don’t forget that you need to put your own oxygen mask on first.” What’s missing in this well-intentioned “advice” is the how – and most importantly, understanding our personal why.
That's where I come in – I help working women ally themselves and others so we can all succeed in and out of the office and live the whole life we are all worthy of.

About Meyling
Hi, my name is Mey, and I am a small-town girl turned corporate lawyer, mom of 3 young kids, and a community-giver. Six years ago, I experienced debilitating burnout and a personal identity crisis, unable to find joy in the simplest of things, even time with my newborn son.
It forced me to stop trying to be everything to everyone and rediscover who I was and my personal why. I know firsthand what it’s like to live a life filled with others' yeses and nos -- instead of all your maybes -- constrained by the expectations set by society and all the obligations we place on ourselves. I also know that the worst part is feeling like you have to do it all alone.
This is why I speak to working women. My goal is to help women thrive – at home, at work, in life – without losing who they are, and without feeling like they are alone. My heart gets especially happy when women I connect with not only discover their personal whys but they also discover their maybes.
When I am not speaking, writing, lawyering, or momming, you can usually find me lost in a book about another world, time or dimension -- or maybe just about love.
I look forward to connecting and being a part of your next event so that, together, we can live the whole life we are all worthy of.

TALK ONE
The Power of Community
Thriving in Chaos Through the Power of Community
Too often we hear that the key to success is to power through tough times and "grin and bear it," relying solely on grit and individual resilience. But what if there is another way?
This keynote offers working women an alternative to struggling alone and shares ways to find and create community.

TALK TWO
Four Lies that Lead to Burnout
No matter the survey, a universal truth is that burnout is a real and detrimental phenomenon. But how do we get there?
This keynote explores the idea that perhaps on our own journeys for professional success, we delude ourselves by telling ourselves four lies – and that we owe ourselves some truth-telling.
